{Outfit of the Day} Spring Outfit in Full Bloom
April 20, 2016The weather is finally warmer here in Toronto and we are already half way through April. It's crazy. My spring outfits are dying to come out of the closet. Time to say bye bye to winter coats and long boots and say hello to skirts and high heels!
I don't usually pick out a midi skirt because I always find the length to be challenging on my body type. I am 5'4 and I don't have modelesque skinny legs. I always think the midi skirt length shortens my legs and make me look even shorter. But I love the floral prints on this skirt and I just have to get it when I first saw it. To create an illusion of longer legs, I purposely wear my nude heels so that I look taller with this skirt. The neutral colour also helps draw attention to the floral prints instead of my legs. Sometimes you have to make an outfit work on you instead of just putting pretty things on your body.
Do you own a midi skirt? Would love to hear how you style it.
Have a wonderful Spring!

But you aren't that short! I am 5'2" and I love midi skirts. I have stubby legs but I wear them anyways (even if I look like a leprechaun). haha! Love the print of your skirt. So spring! :)
