Nursery Room Update! (DIY Teepee Decorations)
January 24, 2021I updated Justice's nursery room recently with a teepee! And of course, I had to jazz it up a bit to tie in with his room a little better. And because easy and inexpensive DIYs are my thing, I made these decorations with cardstocks and a wooden circle I already have at home.
If you're interested in this DIY, feel free to download my template (you can find the link at the bottom of this post). Make a stencil with my template and cut out the shapes from your cardstocks. If you have a cutting machine (I used a Cricut), it'll be easier to just upload my template onto Design Space and let the machine do the job.
Once the feathers are cut out, I glued the parallelogram pieces onto each feather shape.
Stack 2 feather shapes together and tape along the side so that it's hollow in the middle for you to insert into the poles.

For a closer look at this DIY, I posted a story on my Instagram @tingandthings_ filed under "DIY". Check out the rest of his room when it was first set up here.
If you give this a try, be sure to share your pictures with me on Instagram and tag me or use hashtag #diywithting. I'd love to see your take on it!
